Cycling Escapes requires all riders to carry health insurance when participating in a Tour.
If you do not currently have health insurance, you will need to purchase some type of policy before being allowed to ride.
Even if you do have insurance, you may want to consider Travel Insurance. Certain policies can cover events your health insurance does not. A Travel Insurance policy may cover plane tickets should the tour be canceled, or an emergency helicopter evacuation should you be injured. One helicopter ride to the hospital can set you back $35,000!
You can purchase an "Active Travel" or "Comprehensive" policy that includes health insurance for as little as $120-$150 for a week of cycling. This is a small price to pay for peace of mind on the off chance you should require it. Try the Link below for more information:
